DID BROTHER ADAIR APPOINT ANYONE AS HIS SUCCESSOR?

🔹 Brother Adair did not appoint anyone as his successor. It was Sis. Hall and Sister Judy who tried to find a male leader to take his place. When we asked him to bless Jones, Brother Adair declared it was illegal and resisted the appointment. Everyone who was there tried to talk him into it but he just agreed to pray over Jones. It was Sster Judy's hand that was on Brother Jone's head but Brother Jones has told everyone it was Brother Adair who appointed him and had his hand on his head. Sister Judy had the recording of the whole debacle on her phone. I don't know if she still has it, but if she does, I'll release it.  

🔹 As soon as Jones was in communication with me, and he realized that I would be working to get him appointed, he recommended three others from his study group to the council and they all were voted in by the two remaining council members Sis Judy and Brother Watkins This gave Jones the quorum he needed to win the majority vote on any issue. Jones' first plan was to move Headquarters from the eastgate, use up every last dollar we had to buy a luxury property with a boat slip we did not need, and he then made up a false doctrine that 375 acres was required for Headquarters to be built on because of the description of Old Mount Carmel in MCTM. That's when I knew i had made a grave mistake in working to get him elected as vice president. 

 🔹 However, Jones' plans failed because we finally found the bylaws and it said there could be no buying or selling of property without a member or session vote. It also disqualified Jones and his three friends and an additional council member we they had voted in because they were not paying second tithe. At this time, Sis Hall was not a councilmember, but she was paying second tithes as well as Sister Judy. Brother Watkins was in school and did not have a personal income so he wasn't required to pay tithes. So Jones was eliminated by the bylaws. 

 🔹 The bylaws stated that if anyone tried to move Mt. Carmel from its current location in the eastgate, it would be an immediate revoking of their membership. The attempt to buy land and move Mt. Carmel, the non-payment of second tithes, and the making up of a false doctrine in order to execute their plans to move Mount Carmel is what disqualified him from being VP.

 Many have asked: Would Brother Adair have Given the Headquarters' Leadership to the Zambian Brethren?

Sis Hall Answers:

🔹 To answer your question on whether Brother Adair would ever appoint someone from Africa or any other foreign country outside the US to lead the Association, the answer would be no. 

Brother Adair had a strict policy of letting foreign divisions operate and manage themselves and would not offer them any financial assistance or pay. This is also in the bylaws. The only thing he would provide foreign divisions with would be literature, studies and sometimes a set of books so they could reproduce them and distribute Salem studies. In the 1988 session, the delegates created the bylaws about the limiting of foreign delegates to not outnumber the U.S. delegates, and the forbidden act of moving Headquarters to a foreign country. This is because of the split that Salem suffered with the Jamaican Davidians who would later birth the NY & Waco associations.  Brother Adair did many mission trips to foreign countries, especially Jamaica, and brought a large number of brethren in.

🔹 But the Jamaicans the Salem Association sponsored grouped together and rebelled to follow a man called Tony Hibbert.

🔹 He was a new Davidian and he publicly disagreed with Salem’s teaching of "those with the 144,000". All the Jamaicans followed him and left but one, Sister Grey.  

🔹 This is why Brother Adair would not invest or give money to foreign divisions. It was Sister Judy who was in contact with the Zambians and made friends with them, started to send them her own personal money, and she who suggested Brother Obi be the vice president and come over to America. I was not sure, but we needed someone (at the time we thought a male was necessary) to take Brother Adair's place, and the rest of the Americans went with the plan. Only one councilmember objected to the plan to bring the Zambians to America. 

🔹 However, we were not able to raise enough money for them to come and as time went on we were paying them so much money and giving to the division but no work was being done for the American field. It became problematic because Brother Obi was slow to respond to emergencies, put out statements on behalf of the Association, and even stopped coming to meetings.  

🔹 I had given my entire retirement savings account for the work to sustain the Association, thinking that the two Zambian brothers could help grow the American field. That never happened and I ended up doing the vice president job although I was only assistant VP.  I also ended up doing the job of treasurer and secretary.

🔹 I began to pray and ask the Lord why after 3 years of working with the Zambians, the work not grown in the American field and asked for light on what to do about it. I was frustrated with the entire council for their dismal attendance and lack of work ethic, so I decided to do something radical. 

🔹 I wrote up a job contract demanding they actually work and raise the money to bring the brothers here or they would have to pay me all the money they contracted to pay me. I had taken less and less money and sometimes was not paid at all if the Association was low on funds. 

🔹 All in all, we sent over $28,000.00 USD to Brother Obi and Presley for their pay and for the division only to find out they had begun accepting and soliciting tithes directly from American members. 

‼️Then we found out that the money never even reached the division that we had sent for their camps, deaths, missions, etc. 

 🔹 When I sent out my work contract demand letter, they immediately moved as a council to remove me. Even my own mother was against me. 

🔹 But I brought the session record which showed the jobs they had been voted in to do and asked them all  if they had done their jobs, and if they hadn't who did they think did it? It was me, I answered. I told them that amount of work that I had been doing had affected my health, and it didn't seem like anyone was serious about working to bring the brethren here.

🔹 At that same meeting Sister B. came with her complaints against me and Sister Judy but then she admitted on video that she sent her tithes directly to Brother Obi and Presley, which was a violation of the bylaws.  

🔹 Additionally, Sis B. was asked if they knew she was sending them tithes and she said yes, she had told them because she didn't want to do the wrong thing, and  they accepted it. Brother Obi also admitted they accepted the tithe on video.

🔹 After that meeting they dropped their plan to get rid of me because they knew they were caught red-handed taking the tithe in violation of several bylaws which called for immediate revocation of membership. But we didn't want to do that. 

🔹 *We told the brethren we wanted them to go ahead a return to their leadership positions in the divisions, but we needed them to vacate their council positions because they could not be here in America and we had seen very little field growth.

🔹  Brother Obi and Presley refused and Brother W.  resigned, leaving us at a stalemate. 

🔹 ⏰️ We could not vote on or accomplish anything with 4 people, 2 Americans and 2 Zambians, set in their positions. So we had a meeting and we all agreed that we should call a session. That meeting was on video record too. 

‼️ But when I published the Symbolic Code to announce the session, Brother Presley and Obi announced to the entire membership / division they were "declaring war" on us and that it was an "illegal code". As you know in the Leviticus, a session must be announced in two subsequent Codes, which I was endeavoring to do.

 Section 1. This Association shall hold regular sessions at such time and place as the Executive Council shall designate by a notice published in The Symbolic Code, the official organ of the organization, in two consecutive issues before the date of the opening of the session. --{LV 7.3} 

‼️ Brother Obi and Presley tried to make us appear as Leviticus violators and rule breakers 🤔 when in fact they everything they did was calculated to cover their egregious sin of stealing the tithe and breaking our bylaws.

🔹  To this day they still attack me, follow everything I do, and seek to discount any work or studies I do.

SUMMARY

🔹  I did not try to get the position of VP, it came to me as the American delegates saw that I was the one who was really doing the type of work that Brother Adair used to do. 

🔹   He wasn't just a teacher or Bible worker. He was a leader, a writer, a graphic designer, printer and a publisher and a true man of God. We all prayed and asked why we were going through the splits and it was then we all kind of realized the VP needed to be the person who was actually putting in the work. 

✋🏾It didn't matter that I was a woman at this point. We had tried to appoint two different men and it had ended in failure. So this is the history. I was voted in unanimously by all the delegates at the 2024 session as VP.

🚩 Brother Obi and Presley made sure that no one in the division participated in that session because it all would have come out in the open, what they did.

Brother Kelvin and the brethren in the Northern Province attended the session and accepted the commission from Headquarters to reorganize the Zambian division, whose name changed to the "Central East Africa Division" (CEAD).

‼️🔷️ We must ever remember that it is not Brother Adair who appoints his successor; it is God! That is what we realized after going through the painful splits with Jones and Brother Obi & Presley. We loved them both and did everything they asked us to do and more. We gave from our own pockets to the Zambian brethren and put them first in everything.  

🔷️‼️ But now, it has become clear that the leadership needs to be someone who understands American government, culture and policy, and actually lives here in order to update the brethren worldwide on what is happening here --how prophecy is actually being fulfilled.
